Pretty busy week!

Lady Cat will not be on much this weekend and possibly not next week.  Internet woes.

Coyote will update when he has time.

I shall be updating when I have time, as well.

Planned for this weekend is a possible overhaul of the rules and faq post as I have gotten some interesting feedback and I think it is possible to modify some things so that it is easier to read, particularly for those who do not have native English skills or are not strong in English usage.

I'm quite pleased with how the thread is going, I believe that this thread has the capability of lasting for a LONG time.

Also, I may be moving this blog to a different account, instead of being on my account, so that in case of me being unavailable, the updaters will be able to take over as needed.

Some things need a bit more tweaking, I think.  Again, will be during this weekend.  :)

Blessed be!

A little bit about Lady Caetlyn

Hi!  Today it's all about Lady Caetlyn.  I also go by Kim, Cat, mom, hey you...

I'm in my early 40's, married for 14 years (been together for 21).  I have one beautiful daughter (who is autistic) and 2 obnoxious cats who are in a constant power struggle to be queen of the manor house.  Demona is a Calico with a bit of tabby striping.  Evangeline is a tortie-calico.  They are exquisite kitties, both shelter cats.  (It helps to have family who works at the shelter and has a gift for matching people and pets).  I am also a major Literature and History geek.

My daytime job is as an Administrative Specialist (aka glorified secretary, babysitter, hand-holder, crisis solver, etc).

I am the leader of an awesome Junior Girl Scout troop.  I could wax eloquent about how awesome my girls are and how wonderful the parents are.  Scouting has been a great thing for my daughter.  I am also a PTA parent.

My other hobby is the Society for Creative Anachronism, which is a worldwide non-profit, educational, middle ages re-enactment group.  I have been playing since 1994 when I started at UCSB.  My main interest in the group is cooking and researching period recipes, and am beginning to learn to do card weaving and lacemaking.

I love playing Dragon Cave, and have a weakness for Silver dragons, though I like most of the breeds equally.

My favorite food (which I shouldn't be eating) is potatoes; followed by chocolate and the Thin Mint and Tagalong (Peanut Butter and chocolate) Girl Scout Cookies.  (The Lemon cookies are quickly becoming a favorite of mine).  In my copious free time (what on earth is that), I like to read, sew, embroider, and cook.  I like D&D (most of my dragons are names from characters and inspired by the Forgotten Realms).

Feel free to ask me any questions, though there are certain things I won't share ;)

Thanks for reading!

March Madness!

We've started a new month already!  The tinsel breeding is slowing down, so I suspect we'll be seeing more people on the lists soon (hopefully).

You guys have been so wonderful about adhering to the rules that I just must give a shout-out to all of you!

The same goes for all you wonderful Gifters!!!

We gifted 38! gifts last month.   Let's see if we can't beat that this month, yeah?

I'm so blessed to be able to give you all a venue to find people you want to gift.  Or want more tinsels, etc etc.

On a side note: two more weeks are left before the moderation application deadline.  March 19.

So far I've gotten some excellent ones.

I need mods, not because of how slow the thread is moving along at this time, but because of the madness that will occur when I finally open the shimmer-scale lists.

So yeah.

Nothing else to say that I can think of.

Don't forget to adjust your time on March 10 - set it an hour ahead.  Yay to no more darkness at 5 pm!

Oh yes, March 20 is the first day of spring, and accordingly, the seasonal dragon will become spring that day until Summer kicks in.
